1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use VoiceChemistry. By calling, you confirm that you are.
This is not a formality. Accounts belonging to anyone under 18 are removed as soon as we become aware of them, and we cooperate with the authorities where the law requires it.
2. What the service is
VoiceChemistry is a telephone chat line. You call a number, record a greeting, listen to greetings from other callers, and connect to private one on one conversations.
We provide the chat line. We do not screen, verify, endorse or vouch for the callers on it, and we do not conduct background checks. Who you talk to and what you choose to share is your decision.
3. Free trial minutes
New male callers receive 30 free trial minutes on a first call. No payment details are required to use them.
The trial is offered once per caller and is not transferable. Attempting to obtain repeated trials through multiple numbers or other workarounds may result in removal from the service. When the trial minutes are used, the call ends and nothing is charged automatically.
Women call free. This is not a trial period and it does not expire.
4. Purchased time and billing
Time purchased on the chat line is billed at the rate shown at the time of purchase. Purchases are one time. Nothing renews automatically and there is no subscription running in the background.
Purchased time does not expire unless stated at the point of sale. Purchased time is non transferable and has no cash value.
All sales are final and purchased time is non refundable, except where refunds are required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@voicechemistry.com and we will look into it.
Standard call, data and carrier charges may apply depending on your phone plan. Those charges come from your carrier and are your responsibility.
5. Acceptable use
While using VoiceChemistry, you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or abuse another caller.
- Continue contacting a caller who has asked you to stop.
- Solicit money, gifts, gift cards, payment details or financial help from another caller.
- Advertise, promote or recruit for any business, service or platform.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your age.
- Share or request content involving anyone under 18, under any circumstance.
- Record a conversation or a greeting without consent, where the law requires it.
- Use the service for anything illegal, or attempt to interfere with, overload or reverse engineer it.
- Share another caller's information with anyone.
6. Moderation and removal
We moderate the chat line around the clock and act on reports from callers.
We may suspend or permanently remove any caller who breaks these terms, and we may do so without notice where the behavior is serious. We are not required to refund purchased time to an account removed for a violation.
7. Your greeting and content
You are responsible for the greeting you record and for anything you say on the chat line. By recording a greeting, you give us permission to play it to other callers as part of running the service.
We may remove a greeting that breaks these terms or that we judge unsuitable for the chat line.
8. Privacy
Your use of the service is also covered by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the chat line running 24 hours a day, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, carrier problems, outages and events outside our control can interrupt it.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service, including features, pricing and promotional offers, at any time.
10. Intellectual property
The VoiceChemistry name, logo, site design and site content belong to us and may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission.
11. Disclaimer
The service is provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non infringement.
We make no promises about the conduct, identity, intentions or truthfulness of any caller you speak to, and you interact with other callers at your own risk.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VoiceChemistry is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of the service or your interactions with other callers.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold VoiceChemistry harmless from any claim, loss or expense arising out of your use of the service, your conduct on the chat line or your breach of these terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use the site or the chat line after an update means you accept the revised terms.
